I’m very pleased to offer this astonishing and extraordinary circa-1905 Mission-style wood and brass stained-glass chandelier!
I hardly know where to begin!
The body of the chandelier is wood! Oak, I believe. I love the curve of the arms. The wood sooooo complements the brass fittings.
The shades! The shades! They are finely made brass with green stained-glass inserts! And with no damage! None! The shades appear original to the fixture.
All the brass components have a lovely patina. The chains appear to be original and are gorgeous.
The fixture is impressive at 49-inches long and almost 25-wide (shade to shade). I can adjust the height up/down. The shades are 7-1/2-inches wide. Nice. The wood body is almost 19-wide (from arm to arm).
The 3-1/4-inch fitters are stamped 1904.
All the wiring is new, and cloth-covered like the original.
The fixture is ideal for any Bungalow, Arts & Crafts, Mission, or Foursquare-style home.
Yep, wow. This is one of the finest fixtures I’ve ever offered. And in excellent condition.
This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!
DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). Clear Edison-style LED bulbs will look great.
COLOR: Wood. Brass with patina. Brown wire. Green glass.
SIZE: See above.
The only issue is: There are two flat wood pieces on top. The lower one is slightly warped, and cracked. This is not readily obvious.
The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators.
SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
