1910 foyer fixture. Stained Glass

1 in stock

I’m very pleased to offer this INCREDIBLE circa-1910 2-arm brass Early Electric ceiling fixture!

The shades! Amazing! I’ve never had a fixture with such shades! Fabulously colorful, the molded stained-glass shades are riveting!

And the fixture! I love the rich patina, and the curvaceous horizontal spacer. Yep, wow.

The fixture isn’t large, and is scaled for a foyer, hall, or small bedroom. It’s 21-inches long, and 12-wide (shade-to-shade).

All the wiring is new, and cloth-covered like the original. Nice!

This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). You can use clear Edison-style LED bulbs.
COLOR: See above.
SIZE: See above. As well, the fitters are 2-1/4-inches.
The issues are minor. The finial shows some subtle minute dents and scuffing. The canopy shows same. This is really hard to see from a normal viewing angle.
At some point, somebody drilled two holes to each side of the canopy to attach it to the ceiling. I infilled this with small brass spheres (see image). This does’t register. (The center finial supports the canopy, as originally intended.)
The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators.
SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
