I’m very pleased to offer this dazzling PAIR of 1920s high-quality crystal sconces!
This listing is for TWO matching fixtures.
The fixtures are richly molded of cast brass. The glass bobeches have gorgeous wheel-cut designs. And each bobeche holds an incredible 12 crystals! 12 each! There are 2 more crystals hanging from the body. So, 26 crystals on each sconce! Incredible!
The cardboard candle covers are original! Amazing! While in clearly vintage condition, they have delicate 2-tone shading. It seemed wise to retain them.
All the wiring is new.
The sconces will mount directly to your wall. I will supply the screws, mounting anchors, and even the drill bit!
This pair is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!
DETAILS:
The fixtures accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). Clear flame-style LED bulbs would look well.
Each sconce has an on/off switch. As I don’t trust old switches I deactivated these. If this feature is important please contact me.
COLOR: Brass. Glass.
SIZE: The fixtures are about 13-inches high (minus bulbs) and 10-inches wide. They project about 6-inches.
CONDITION:
I love writing this: there’s no damage. Wow.
The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators.
The candle covers are original.
The sconces had a lot of their original crystals but not all. Many were chipped. As such, I used all new hand-cut and polished crystals, identical to the originals.
