Description

I’m very pleased to offer this striking 1920s pan-style chandelier!

Pan-style fixtures were wildly popular through the 1910s, 1920s, and into the 1930s, and were used in a variety of home style such as bungalows, Art & Crafts, Mission, Colonial, and foursquare.

The bottom of the fixture features a wonderful medallion of green leaves surrounded by purple flowers! Gorgeous! And the polychrome is original!

Most of the fixture is brass, which largely retains its original finish with only small bits of loss.

All the wiring is new, and the vertical wire is cloth-covered like the original. Nice.

This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). Clear Edison-style dimmable LED bulbs would look great.
COLOR: See above. As well, the main color is a dark gold. There are bright gold accents.
SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 26-inches and is 16-inches wide. The main pan is 14-wide. I can remove up to 5-inches of chain; I can add chain.
CONDITION:
The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators.
The polychrome is original and in good vintage condition, with the expected small bits of loss (see images). The finish on top of the pan was badly scratched so I stripped this down to brass. This cannot be seen under normal viewing.
SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
