I’m very pleased to offer this extraordinary PAIR of 1920s wrought-iron LARGE sconces!
This listing is for TWO matching sconces.
Two vital things:
ONE
The sconces are large! Very large! See last image for a comparison with a normal-sized sconce (the small sconce is not included). The sconces are 22-1/2-inches high, and 12-1/2-inches wide. Wow!
TWO
The quality! Incredible! The sconces are hand-wrought and the level of quality is dazzling! The very finest from a blacksmith. In looking closely at the sconces it’s hard to process that they are hand-made; the quality is just that good.
The iron has a verdigris finish. This appears original and is in very good condition.
The shades are fascinating. Each has a leg, which slots into a fitter. Love it! You can use the sconces with, or without, the shades.
The three rings on each sconce move.
When lighted, dramatic shadows are cast upon the wall. This results from the sconces being set out from the wall 2-inches by upper/lower brackets.
So, if you’ve been looking for a pair of extremely high-quality sconces, and of a scale suited to, say, the two-story living room of your 1920s Spanish-Revival or Italian-Renaissance-style home, then this pair might be ideal.
Wholly restored and with new sockets and wiring, this pair is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!
DETAILS:
The fixtures accept candelabra base 60W bulbs (not included). You can use LED bulbs, which will be covered by the shades.
The sconces will cover a standard rectangular vertically-mounted electrical box. They will attach to the box via the mounting hardware provided. I recommend that they also be screwed to your wall, via two holes in the top bracket. These screws are not included but, if you let me know what your wall is made of, I may be able to supply the correct screws.
The mounting buttons are new.

CONDITION:
I love writing this: there’s no damage.
The sockets and wiring are new.
The candle covers are new.
The verdigris finish is, as noted, in very good condition. The shades required some minor touching-up.
