1930s Porcelier ceiling fixture. MORE AVAILABLE

Out of stock

I’m very pleased to offer this wonderful 1930s 2-bulb ceiling fixture by the famous Porcelier Company!

For many decades, Porcelier made some of the finest lighting fixtures and house wares (they closed in the 1950s). There’s a book on their work:
Collector’s Guide to Porcelier China
By Susan E. Grindberg

This particular fixture is quite rare. I’ve never offered it previously.

The fixture is off-white, with orange, blue, green, and brown.

The cast-brass finial is original.

Note the porcelain Porcelier socket rings. I love these kind of details.

I have two more!

With new wiring, this fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard-base bulbs. Clear, Edison-style LED would look well.
COLOR: See above.
SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 5-inches and is 10-1/2 x 6-1/4-inches wide.
I love writing this: there’s no damage.
The sockets are original with new wiring.
There are subtle manufacturing irregularities. This is normal.
SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!!
