1940s red kitchen chandelier. MORE available!

I’m very pleased to offer this dazzling late 1940s chandelier!

The fixture has a delicious red shade, and aluminum and brass components.

The single socket accepts a 200W bulb. The light is mostly thrown to the ceiling, offering a highly diffused and flattering quality of light.

At the bottom of the shade is a glass disk.

The fixture would look fabulous in a 1940s or early 1950s kitchen.

Wholly restored and with a new socket and wiring, this fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts one standard base 200W bulb (not included). A 200W-equivalent LED bulb would be ideal.
COLOR: See above.
SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 22-inches and is 15-5/8-inches wide. I can remove up to 5-inches of chain; I can add chain.
I love writing this: there’s no damage.
The porcelain socket and wiring are new.
The shade had been badly overpainted. In removing this I found traces of red which seemed to be the original color. Hence, the red finish is new.
SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
