1950s foyer Sputnik

I’m very pleased to offer this striking 1950s Sputnik ceiling fixture!

The fixture is scaled for a foyer or bedroom. It is 4-1/2-inches high (without bulbs) and 11-wide (14-wide diagonally).

There are eight arms shooting out from the center. Fabulous.

It is hard finding these smaller-scaled Sputnik fixtures.

This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts candelabra base 20W bulbs (not included).
COLOR: Brass.

CONDITION:

• I love writing this: there’s no damage.
• The sockets and wiring are original (and in fine shape). I added some new lengths of wire to help ease with installation.
• The brass retains its original protective lacquer. There are some age spots (where air has gotten under the lacquer) and the socket cups are a bit darker due to the heat of the bulbs. The lacquer could be removed and the whole polish bright.
