1930s Moe-Bridges chandelier. 200W. MORE AVAILABLE
1 in stock
I’m very pleased to offer this gorgeous chrome and glass 1930s chandelier by the famous Moe-Bridges Company of Milwaukee!
Two brothers, Henrik and Ole Moe, helped to found the Milwaukee-based Moe-Bridges lighting company in 1919.
The shade is striking and features a wonderfully textured surface with luscious flowers. These are particularly outstanding when lighted.
Above the shade is a fountain of glass and this, too, is outstanding when the fixture is lighted.
Unusually, the original chain and original ceiling canopy are chrome-plated. Nice.
The fixture accepts a single 200W bulb. So, beautiful and brilliant!
The wiring is all new, and cloth-covered like the original. Very nice!
AND PLEASE NOTE:
I have one more! The second fixture is identical save the chain, which is a different (I could replace the chains on both fixtures with matching nickel-plated chain). The chrome on the ceiling canopy is good, but not as good as the one listed here. So, if you need two fixtures just let me know!
Wholly restored and with a new socket and wiring, this fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!
- The fixture accepts one standard base 200W bulb.
- The shade hangs from three chains.
COLOR: The shade is a very pale beige. Aluminum. Chrome. Glass.
SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 30-inches and the shade is an impressive 16-inches wide. I can remove up to 16-inches of chain: I can add chain.
- There are minute flea bites to the glass vase. I doubt you will notice.
- The chrome on the ceiling canopy looks amazingly good.
- The socket and wiring are new.
SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
