I’m very pleased to offer this extraordinary late 1950s Hollywood Regency crystal chandelier!
WOW!
Brass crystal chandeliers were wildly popular in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, and many iterations are easily found.
But this chandelier is…different, and unlike anything I’ve ever offered:
- It’s large: a whopping 24-inches wide.
- It has six arms (rather than the more common 5 arms).
- The bottom is a large brass bowl. I’ve never seen this before.
- The bowl has an over-scaled acanthus leaf cluster! FABULOUS!
- There are amazing anthemion filigree motifs. Soooooo gorgeous.
- Even the chain links are striking and unique.
Yep, WOW.
The crystals are hand-cut and polished.
Most of the fixture is cast brass.
The wiring is all new, as are the sockets. The vertical wire is cloth-covered like the original. Nice.
This is a very special chandelier and would be ideal over your T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings dining table.
This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!
DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). Clear flame-style LED bulbs would look well.

SIZE: See above. As well, the fixture hangs down almost 32-inches. I can remove chain; I can add chain (but it won’t match).
CONDITION:
I love writing this: there’s no damage.
The sockets are new and with new wring and candle covers.
Most of the original crystals were missing. Thus, the crystals are new.
