Description

I’m very pleased to offer this stunning 1920s pan-style chandelier with wheel-cut shades!

WOW!

Pan-style fixtures were wildly popular from about 1915 to 1935 and were used in all style homes.

This chandelier, mostly of stamped brass, retains its distinctive original polychrome: dark pewter. The color is wonderfully evocative of the era.

There are also brass accents.

And the frosted shades! The leaves and grapes are CUT into the glass via a grinding wheel. Stunning! Fabulous!

Scale-wise the fixture is ideal for a bedroom or small dining room. It’s 27-inches long (I can adjust this), and 13-inches wide.

Note the distinctive original chain, alternating rectangular links with round links. I love this.

The wiring is all new, and cloth-covered like the original. Nice.

This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS:
The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). Clear Edison-style LED bulbs would look well.
The canopy mounting button is a replacement.
COLOR: See above.
SIZE: See above. As well, the fitters are 2-1/4-inches.
CONDITION:
Save some small chips to the fitting ends of the shades (which is normal, and cannot be seen), there’s no damage.
The dark pewter polychrome finish is in very good vintage condition, with but a few age spots.
The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators.
SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
