Description

I’m very pleased to offer this luscious 1920s polychrome 5-arm chandelier!

The chandelier is made of brass, and this retains its original polychrome finish. The main color is a coppery gold, and with accents of jade.

There are five sockets.

The five amber glass drops are lovely.

Note also the original finial and ceiling canopy. Nice.

The beautifully detailed chandelier is ideal for a home in the Spanish-Revival-style, Arts & Crafts, or bungalow.

The chandelier is not actually restored yet. It will be fully rewired (and with new cloth-covered wiring), with new paper insulators, and with the polychrome touched-up.

This fixture will be shipped wholly restored, ready to hang, and with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included).
COLOR: See above.
SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 34-inches and is 19-inches wide. I can remove up to 11-inches of chain; I can add chain.
CONDITION:

  • I love writing this: there’s no damage.
  • The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators.
  • The candle covers are new.
  • The amber glass drops are new. That the fixture had glass drops is evidenced by the tell-tale mounting holes. I chose amber because the color was the most popular in the 1920s.

SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
