I’m very pleased to offer this 1940s chandelier with three stunning custard glass shades!
The shades are beautifully molded and feature laurel motifs in relief. Wow. This was a popular 1940s motif.
The metal components are brass. I love the curvy arms and scalloped edges (under the shades, the stem, and canopy). The brass retains its original lacquer in good vintage condition.
I love how original the fixture is. The shades, chain, and canopy are all original.
All the wiring is new. The vertical wire is cloth-covered like the original. Nice.
The fixture is scaled for a foyer, hall, or bedroom. It is 27-1/2-inches long, and almost 14-inches wide (shade to shade). I can remove up to 11-1/2-inches of chain.
Wholly restored with new wiring, this fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!
DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. You can use LED bulbs.

CONDITION:
There are subtle stress cracks to the brass socket cups.
The lacquer, as noted, is original. There are small bits of loss and small age spots (where air has gotten under the lacquer).
The sockets and writing are new.
